Help need Screen Capture for Android?

Does anyone now of a good Screen Capture tool for Android phones?

Look at this I have to use a digital camera and it gets more reflection than screen.

My phone is not rooted (hacked) and I am not going to root it. So this tool must be free and able to work on the Droid X type of Android phones.

Any help or links will be greatly appreciated.

  1. I was just recently in your same predicament, so I'll save you a LOT of time.

Wondershare MobileGo is a free program that works with non-rooted Androids. You download and install MobileGo on your computer. Your Android is then connected to your computer via a USB cable.

MobileGo provides a very simple one-touch button to capture screen shots and store them on the computer.

You can also back up your cell phone data using MobileGo.

If you were looking for an Android app installed directly onto your cell phone, I did not find a free app that could do the job properly. The paid apps which "claim" to provide screen captures all have terrible reviews, so why would anyone pay for something that may not work?

You could also follow YouTube instruction videos about downloading SDK from the Android Developers market which also permits screen captures from your Android via a USB cable to your desktop.

MobileGo is MUCH easier and has more features and benefits.
